This Privacy Policy describes how WhatIf AI – Imagine Anything application published under the developer account "Kevin Ghori" collect, use, and protect user data. By using our app including those powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI), you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

a. Personal Data
  • We do not collect personally identifiable information unless explicitly stated.
  • App may request access to features (camera, text input, etc.) — all optional and used only to enhance functionality.
  • Facial images (photo uploads)
  • Facial feature data (processed for AI generation only)
  • Text prompts and uploaded images used for AI-generated content (processed only upon user request)
b. Usage Data
  • Device type and OS version
  • App usage statistics
  • Crash reports
  • Interaction logs (non-personal)
c. AI Image Generation & Third-Party Processing
  • When users use the AI image generation feature, the app securely transmits selected user inputs to third-party AI processing services.
  • The transmitted data may include:
    • Text prompts entered by the user
    • Images uploaded, captured, or selected by the user
    • Selected generation settings such as style, size, or other preferences
  • We currently use third-party AI processing services through Replicate’s platform for image generation.
    • Replicate provides access to various AI models, which may include Flux, Minimax, and Stable Diffusion (including SDXL-based models).
    • The specific AI model used may vary depending on availability and user-selected generation settings.
    • These models process user inputs solely for the purpose of generating the requested image output.

  • These providers process user inputs solely to generate the requested image output.
  • We do not sell, rent, or use user content for advertising profiling.
  • We require all third-party AI providers to maintain security and data protection standards equal to or greater than our own.
  • User inputs are not retained by us after processing unless the user saves the generated result on their own device.
d. Face Data Collection
  • Users may upload images within the app.
  • Uploaded images are used solely to verify the presence of a face in the image.
  • We use Google ML Kit’s on-device face detection technology to determine whether a face is available in the uploaded image.
  • No facial features are extracted, stored, or analyzed for identification purposes.
  • Face data is not used for facial recognition, biometric identification, profiling, tracking, or training AI models.

3. Face Data Storage, Sharing & Retention

a. Where Will Face Data Be Stored?
  • We do not store any facial data on our own servers.
  • User-provided images are securely transmitted to third-party AI processing services (Replicate) solely to generate the requested output based on the user’s input prompt.
  • Facial images are processed in real-time or stored temporarily only for the duration required to generate the requested result.
  • Input images sent to our processing partner (Replicate) are automatically deleted from their systems within a short period (generally within 1 hour by default).

b. Will Face Data Be Shared?
  • Yes, but only temporarily with trusted AI processing providers (Replicate) to perform the requested AI image generation.
  • Images are transmitted securely and used only to generate the requested output.
  • Face images are never sold or shared with advertisers, marketers, or unrelated third parties.
  • These providers process the images only for the requested operation and do not use them for advertising, profiling, or biometric identification purposes.
c. How Long Will Face Data Be Retained?
  • Face data is retained only for the duration of the AI image generation process.
  • Images may be stored temporarily during processing and are automatically deleted from Replicate servers shortly after the result is generated (generally within 1 hour).
  • We do not keep backups or long-term storage of facial images.
  • The only images stored on the user’s device are those that the user chooses to save manually.
d. Privacy & AI Image Generation
  • Our app uses the Replicate API to generate AI-based images from user-uploaded photos.
  • When a photo containing a face is uploaded, the image is processed to apply the requested AI effect.
  • No permanent storage of facial images or biometric data is performed by our app.
  • All data transfers are secured and used strictly for generating the requested output.

4. Third-Party Services

a. Third-Party Login (If Applicable)

App may offer optional third-party login features such as Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or other social login providers.

  • When you choose to sign in using a third-party service, we may receive limited profile information (Profile Picture, Name, and Email) solely for authentication and account-related features.
  • This information is used only to enable login, personalization, or saved features and is not shared with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
  • Users may request account deletion, and upon such request, all associated account data will be permanently deleted unless retention is required by law.

b. Other Third-Party Services

This app may integrate third-party services for:

  • Advertising (e.g., Google AdMob)
  • Analytics (e.g., Firebase Analytics)
  • AI processing (Replicates models like Flux, Minimax, and Stable Diffusion)
  • In-app purchases and subscriptions via Apple in-App Purchases.

These third parties process data according to their own privacy policies.

App may display ads. Ad networks may use device identifiers (e.g., Apple's IDFA) to personalize ads.

Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising > Turn off Personalized Ads

6. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

  • Subscriptions are billed via Apple ID and auto-renew unless canceled 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can cancel anytime via: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions

Our apps are not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data. Please contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information.

  • We do not retain face data or AI-generated content unless stored by the user on their own device.

11. User Consent for AI Processing

Before transmitting any images or text prompts to third-party AI services, the app presents a clear in-app notice requesting user permission.

  • Users are informed that selected images and text prompts will be securely transmitted to third-party AI providers solely for generating the requested content.
  • No personal data is transmitted automatically or in the background without user action.
  • AI processing occurs only when the user actively chooses to generate content.
  • Users may decline consent by choosing not to use the AI generation feature.

By selecting “Agree” within the app and using the AI generation feature, users explicitly consent to this limited data transmission and processing.

12. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated occasionally. All updates will appear on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the app means acceptance of the updated policy.
